We took the critically aclaimed kurv shank pattern and added a coloured PTFE coating to make it blend in with the lake bed. The ultra-sharp Kaptor point has been left uncoated, because the development team had noticed that uncoated points were sharper. To maintain the eye-wateringly sharp point, each hook has with a rubber blob on the hook point. This process ensures that the “sharpest point in the carp world” stays just that. Each hook is then clipped into a plastic case so that it stays pristine until you need it.

The Kaptor Kurv Shank is available in Weed Green and Gravelly Brown camouflage. Each colour has been picked to match the most common lake beds the angler will encounter.
